Ramona | UPDATE 1.0.2.0

Lag issues resolved

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the players experiencing Ramona.
Reading your comments, your reviews, and your emotions is something that, for a solo developer, means more than anything else. Ramona was born from years of work, fear, care, and obsession for every detail… and knowing that it’s truly reaching you is wonderful.

In this update we tackled one of the problems that frustrated you the most: heavy lag and sudden stutters on some PCs.
After many nights of testing, we discovered the issue came from how certain GPUs handled DirectX12. To ensure stability for everyone, starting today Ramona always launches in DirectX11, the safest and most compatible version.
The result? Significantly better performance and no more shadow glitches.
At last, Ramona should now be smooth and stable on every configuration.

We also added a new option in the menu: “Artificial Intelligence”.
Over the past few days many asked how much AI influenced the game.
For this reason, I chose to explain it openly: AI was used only for the multilingual voice-over and for some paintings, to make the experience accessible even to those who don’t speak Italian.
But everything else – the story, gameplay, artistic direction, programming, puzzles, atmosphere – was created entirely by me.
I hope this new section brings clarity and allows everyone to enjoy Ramona with peace of mind.

UPDATES:
